Senior Network Engineer – OPS00024

We are a US-based outsource software development company that has been delivering exceptional software experience to our clients since 2011, helping technology companies to become industry leaders.

Over the past few years, we’ve been hiring specialists all over the world while our main development centers were in Ukraine. Now, we keep expanding and start growing our centers in different parts of the world. Dev.Pro is open to hire specialists from other countries as well as Ukrainians who live outside of Ukraine now. We stand with Ukraine and keep supporting our people by offering a friendly remote environment while adhering to the values of democracy, human rights, and state sovereignty.

About this opportunity

We invite a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our fully remote, international team. In this role, you’ll design, scale, and secure the high-speed networks powering our sovereign GPU cloud. You’ll work at the intersection of AI infrastructure, HPC networking, and data center engineering to deliver ultra-low latency, fault-tolerant connectivity.

What’s in it for you:

• Join a fast-scaling company shaping the future of AI infrastructure in Europe

• Lead the design, automation, and optimization of high-performance networks supporting AI and GPU infrastructure

• Collaborate with a top-tier international team and grow through global AI and cloud events

Is that you?

• 7+ years in large-scale or hyperscaler networking (data center or HPC)

• Expertise in EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, and multicast architectures

• Hands-on experience with Arista EOS, Cisco Nexus, or Juniper QFX

• Certifications (CCNP, CCIE, Arista ACE)

• Familiarity with InfiniBand (HDR/NDR), NVIDIA/NVLink, and RoCEv2

• Automation experience with Python, Ansible, or Terraform

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Kentik, or similar

• Experience with data center power/cooling or AI-specific topologies (fat tree, dragonfly, torus)

• Strategic thinking with strong technical and business communication

• Organization, autonomy, and adaptability

• Advanced English level

Desirable:

• Experience with NVIDIA Spectrum or Arista 7/8k; familiarity with NVLink/NVSwitch in AI clusters

• Collaboration on NVMe/TCP and NFS performance tuning with storage teams

• Exposure to BlueField DPUs and in-band telemetry

• Strong French skills

Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you’ll own the performance, reliability, and security of the networks supporting our AI and GPU infrastructure.

• Design and implement EVPN-VXLAN data center fabrics connecting GPU clusters across regions

• Manage BGP peering and routing policies with ISPs, cloud exchanges, and backbone providers

• Optimize and secure network access for AI workloads on Slurm, Kubernetes, and bare metal

• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot high-speed network interconnects

• Automate network provisioning and telemetry

• Deliver lossless AI fabrics with RoCEv2, per-class QoS, and NCCL-validated performance

• Operate InfiniBand fabrics (partitioning, adaptive routing, and link health)

• Design multi-site networks with per-tenant VRFs, inter-DC connectivity, and traffic engineering

• Ensure safe, repeatable network changes through automation

• Implement network telemetry, monitoring, and performance alerting

• Enforce security with micro-segmentation/ACLs, AAA/RBAC, MACsec, DDoS mitigation, and RPKI
