We invite a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with strong Java expertise to join our team. You’ll help us build a Transaction Routing Simulator leveraging an existing Real-Time Routing solution. This transaction simulator API will utilize provider data to optimize transaction routing paths and maximize cost savings for a number of large merchants, including popular chains of convenience stores.

✅ Is that you?
- 3+ years of commercial Java development experience
- Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (preferably GCP)
- Strong understanding of the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Upper-Intermediate English level
- Initiative, motivation, proactivity, and accountability
- Excellent communication abilities
- Effective team and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Experience working in large corporate environments and being part of dynamic teams
Desirable:
- Proficiency in DevOps principles and practices, experience in basic tasks
- BigQuery and Apache Spark experience
- Working knowledge of ETL Pipelines
- Knowledge of BI framework (Looker, MS Power BI)
- React.js skills
🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution
In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to the team’s backend development efforts, ensuring our applications are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.
- Develop and maintain Java applications
- Review code to ensure alignment with acceptance criteria described in user stories/defects, security guidelines, and architectural patterns
- Analyze and resolve technical and application issues
- Design database models and data architectures
- Research and evaluate various software products
- Assess risks in design/coding decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and regulations
- Actively participate in team ceremonies (planning, grooming, product demo, retrospectives)
