We invite a highly skilled, motivated, and proactive Software Engineer with robust expertise in Java backend development and solid leadership abilities to join our team. You’ll help us build a Transaction Routing Simulator based on Real-Time Routing solution to enhance our client’s competitiveness in debit transaction processing. This project involves creating a transaction simulator API, utilizing provider data to optimize transaction routing paths and maximize cost savings for merchants.

✅ Is that you?
- 5+ years of commercial Java development experience
- Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (preferably GCP)
- Strong understanding of the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Upper-Intermediate English level
- Demonstrated ability in people management and team leadership
- Initiative, proactivity, accountability
Desirable:
- Understanding of key DevOps principles and practices, experience in basic DevOps tasks
- Experience with BigQuery and Apache Spark
- Working knowledge of ETL Pipelines
- Experience with BI framework (Looker, MS Power BI)
🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution
In this role, you’ll combine backend development with leadership duties. You’ll guide the team through the entire software development lifecycle while staying hands-on with your own coding work.
- Review project documentation and requirements; assist with infrastructure setup
- Lead backend development tasks, including project skeleton setup, database design and implementation, and API design and development
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project alignment and timelines
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
- Conduct code reviews to ensure maintenance of high code quality standards
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders for updates and feedback
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements
